About - Holland Park Primary School

The School was founded, as Holland Road Board School in 1902. It was to be an all-standard establishment, accommodating up to 360 mixed (senior and junior) pupils and 200 infants, in purpose-built premises on a site in Holland Road. At the time of the school's opening the new buildings were unfinished, and it was temporarily housed in the Clacton Town Hall until they were completed. Over the years developments went through. Building new facilities,additional school equipments and administration changes. Until it was re-opened on September 10, 1945 it became Holland Road Primary School.

All application processing and submission is in coordination with Essex Local Authority on the given closing date of application.The school's Approved Admission Number is 60 and this will be the number of intended admissions for the year commencing September 2014 until August 2015. A child has the right to a full time place at school from the September following their 4th birthday. Parents can request to defer admission until the child reaches compulsory school age in the school year, thus,the school will put on hold the defer entry and not offer and not offer it to another child. The parent would not, however, be able to defer entry beyond the beginning of the term after the child’s fifth birthday, nor beyond the academic year for which the original application was accepted. Morning session only is available for parents opting to take up a part time place until child reach compulsory school age. For mid-year applications, offers must be accepted within 14 days of the date the offer was received, otherwise the application will be deemed to have lapsed.
