About - Holy Family Catholic Primary School Witham

Holy Family Catholic Primary School was founded by the Catholic church to provide education for children of Catholic families. The school is a voluntary aided Catholic school situated on the southern end of Witham in the county of Essex and in the diocese of Brentwood. The school is a smaller than average-sized primary school. The school serves the Catholic parishes of Holy Family and All Saints in Witham and St. Mary’s in Silver End, with some children coming from outlying villages.

Cases when there are more applicants than places available priority will always given to Catholic applicant in accordance with the set guidelines of admission. Acceptance of 30 pupils in September for foundation class is responsibility of the governing body. The number can only be exceeded in this class if the 31st child is twins or from multiple birth. Application made is within the accordance operated by child's Local Authority. In the event of oversubscription following criteria is set to follow.
