About - Independent Jewish Day School

The Independent Jewish Day School in Hendon has been granted academy status – the first Barnet primary to achieve this and, says the school, the first Jewish primary nationally. The School aim to provide pupils with an outstanding education in an environment which nurtures the potential of each child and encourages a love of Torah learning, a passion for Mitzvot, a sense of responsibility towards others and a commitment to Israel.
