Maldon Primary School is located in the market town of Maldon on the Blackwater estuary in Essex servicing the community of Maldon for more than 100 years. The school has large playground and equipped with play facilities. The school building has 14 classrooms, fully equipped ICT suite, a large school hall and a relocatable classroom.

The school follow Essex County Council Admission policy. There is no guarantee of a place for children living in the priority admission area . In the event of oversubscription where applications received is more than the number of intended admission which is 60 for year 2014/2015,following set of criteria will be determined to which child should be admitted. However if oversubscription is within any of the given criteria; thus proximity (straight line distance) of the child's home to the school will be given highest priority. Exceptional medical circumstances may over ride the above other than Looked After Children.
