About - Millhouse Infant School and Nursery

The school is larger than the average-sized primary school. Millhouse Infant School and Nursery Early Years Foundation Stage comprises a Nursery and three Reception classes. Last June 2013 Essex County Council proposed to erect a detached single storey timber framed building at Millhouse Infant School and Nursery to provide accommodation for parents’ meetings, staff training, social care meetings and school nurse health checks.

Nursery has 52 part time places available. Children will be admitted for three terms, part time (i.e. 5 sessions per week), in the September preceding their 4th birthday. There will be a mix of three and four year olds in each session. Admissions will vary according to the set criteria in priority order. Should there be more applications from within the priority admissions area than places available will be determined base on highest priority. The closing date for registration for nursery places will be the mid-May prior to the September in which the child would be due to commence.v>
