Northlands Infant School in Winifred Road, Pitsea, opened in 1968 and shared building with the Junior school. Offering a positive and safe learning environment is right at the heart of what makes the school special. having many opportunities are provided for children to enjoy a range of sports and to develop a broader understanding of aspects which impact on life-long health.div>

Years 1 & 2
Children who are 3 years old between 1st September and 31st August will join nursery in September. Parent and child will be invited to attend for a number of induction sessions before admission to the Nursery and following the set criteria for admission set by the Local Education Authority. The admission policy for the Infants School is the same as that for the Nursery with the addition of the fact that children attending the Nursery have priority over remaining applications.
