About - Oakwood County Infants School Clacton

Oakwood Infants School is located on the site of the former Windsor School. The school have large, very well resourced school with generous sized classrooms. We also have a range of exciting and interesting outside areas where structured play takes place, providing our children with lots of opportunities to develop their academic, social, communication and language skills.

All children are admitted into Reception in the September after their 4th birthday.There is no guarantee of a place for children living in the priority admissions area. In the event of over-subscription allocation of places will be determined by set of criteria in the order given. In the event of over-subscription within any of the above criteria, priority will be determined by straight line distance from home to school, those living closest being given the highest priority. Exceptional medical circumstance (supported by medical evidence) may override the above.
