About - Our Lady Immaculate Catholic Primary School

In October 1845, Fr. Charles King opened the Immaculate Conception school-chapel. The parish church was built two years later. The school has since served generations of families from Chelmsford and beyond. Today,Our Lady Immaculate School is situated on a much-extended site and is part of a vibrant parish. The school aims to provide an excellent and distinctiveCatholic education to prepare pupils to meet the demands of the 21st Century. As an Academy, Our Lady Immaculate Catholic Primary School is a companylimited by guarantee (registered No. 8020070), within the Diocese of Brentwood.

As required by law, this school provides for the full-time admission of all children offered a place in the reception year group from the September following their fourth birthday.A parent can choose if their child will start full time in September or defer entry until the child reaches compulsory school age in the school year. thus parent cannot defer entry beyond the start of the term after the child 5th birthday. Deferred entry is on hold and not offer to another child.
