About - Queen Boudica Primary School

Located in North Colchester at the top end of a new residential development and the north of the site is adjacent to Colchester General Hospital, Queen Boudica Primary School opened as a brand new school in September 2009. In that time, the school have grown significantly in terms of pupil numbers, staff and buildings. They have grown to 256 children and 9 classes. Eventually the school will become a 420-place primary school with fourteen classes.div>

The school published number to intake is determined by the Local Authority. In Years R (Foundation Stage), 1 and 2 the admission number is 60 and in Y3 it is 45. For other year groups (Years 4-6) the number is 10 children per year group. For September 2013 our number to intake is planned to be 60 children in Foundation Stage. Autumn, spring and summer-born children are admitted full time in September with phased entry for the first four weeks.
