About - Ryedene Community Primary School

Ryedene Community Primary School was opened in 1979 to serve the southern boundary of Basildon New Town. The building is open-plan and on a split-level. Ryedene Community Primary School is committed to the promotion of equality of opportunity for all, including people from different racial, ethnic, cultural and religious backgrounds.

Children living in the priority admissions area at the time of application and determination will be allocated a place at the school providing an application is received by the closing date. In event of over-subscription, any remaining places will be allocated according to the set criteria in a priority order.In the event of over-subscription within any of the above criteria, priority will be determined by straight-line distance from home to school, those living closest being given highest priority. Exceptional medical circumstances (supported by medical evidence) may override the above.
