About - Selsdon Primary and Nursery School

Selsdon Primary School first opened in May 1928. The pupils were taught in a temporary building known as the ‘Tin School’ until they moved into the present building in 1931. Selsdon Central Secondary School occupied the first floor of the main building, with the primary school using the ground floor. After the closure of the secondary school in 1965, Selsdon Primary School has been the sole occupant of the buildings. The school became Grant Maintained in 1993 and currently enjoys Foundation status.

Class Nursery to Class 6	September

There is no automatic transfer into reception class. Parents must submit the common application form before the closing date of admission and parents child must meet the admissions criteria for the school.
