About - South Green Junior School

South Green Junior School was opened in 1961 as a primary school then and became a Junior School when the Infant School opened in 1965. It is serving the South Green area of Billericay. The school have assembly hall, a separate dining area that can be transformed to serve as a stage for the hall and a kitchen. It also has an attractive paved courtyard with a fenced pond, an asphalt playground and an adjacent playing field. div>

All application for a place in South Green Junior School is in accordance with the LA policy as well as submission of application in the specified closing date. There is no guarantee of a place for children living in the priority admissions area. Places will be allocated using the following criteria in the order given if a year group is oversubscribed. In the event of oversubscription within any of the above criteria, priority will be determined by straight line distance from home to school, those living closest being given highest priority.
