About - St Andrews Junior School Colchester

St. Andrews Junior School was opened in April 1969 to serve the southern area of the Greenstead Estate situated to the North East of Colchester. There are eight well-proportioned classrooms plus three relocatable rooms adjacent to the main building and two classrooms in a new block. An extension has been built this year housing a new staging area complete with state of the art sound and lighting system. Portable staging is an additional feature of the new extension.

Pupils are admitted to the school if they live within the agreed catchment area of St Andrews. Children usually transfers from the Infant's school to the Junior school following their 7th birthday.
