About - St Helens Catholic Junior School Academy

St. Helen’s Junior School is larger than many junior schools was built in 1973 and is situated in the Diocese of Brentwood. It serves the Catholic parishes of Brentwood and Warley, Ongar and Ingatestone. The school main building have ten classroom and 4 classrooms in the new block. It is also have dual-purpose and well equipped hall and ICT suite.

St. Helen’s Junior School governing body is responsible for determining and administering the policy relating to the admission of pupils to the school guided by the requirements of the law, by the advice of the Diocesan Trustees, and its duty to the school and the Catholic community. Though admission arrangements are administered by the Essex County Council where completed application form should return directly to the council. Parents who wish for a place in the school for their child Supplementary Information Form must complete and returned to the school in a given date. It should be carefully noted that all applications must be submitted on that form and all applications will be considered at the same time. Admission to which child is admitted and will be offered a place is in accordance of the set out criteria in a priority order. Where applicants for admission exceed the number of places available following set of criteria within each category will be applied.
