ALL authors use Keywords. But authors of test passages use them with special frequency, largely as a way of rewarding critical readers. If Keywords act on you unconsciously, you may or may not pick up their hints. But if you are consciously seeking out and interpreting Keywords, you will save an enormous amount of time and improve your comprehension, to boot.

Evidence Keywords indicate that specific support for the author's point is forthcoming. For this reason, they are especially helpful when you encounter questions that require more detailed knowledge of the passage.
