Defence Authority Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed High School for Boys was established in April 1988. As the building was donated by HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the school was named after him. Later, the school was upgraded to Intermediate level in 1989. Initially the school and the college were both affiliated with Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Islamabad. Later in 1993 it got affiliated with Board of Secondary Education, Karachi. On the establishment of DHA Degree College for Men, intermediate classes were shifted and the school continued to function up to secondary level. In January 2001, the school was again upgraded to College level. Introduced O' Level section (Class VI Onward) at SKBZ College in 2010.
Since its inception the school has strived to provide quality education to its students. DA SKBZ College aims to create a harmonious balance between academic demands, sports, cultural activities and community life. It challenges its pupils to be intellectually inquisitive and socially conscious.
