Precis Kindness to Animals

Kindness to animals is a great virtue. Animals deserve to be treated most kindly in view of the belief that they will not have another life after death. Human beings have a certain duty to brutes but this duty is often neglected. The fear that others will mock at him should not prevent a man from showing kindness to animals.
