Fractions and Percent

A percentage is actually another form of fraction. Both are controvertible to each other. Some times it is easy to deal percent in fraction and on the other hand, some times percent questions become easy to solve in decimal form.

Percents are another way to express a fraction.

A percent is a fraction whose denominator is 100.

You get the idea.

To convert a fraction to a percent, multiply it by 100 and add the % sign.

To convert a percent to a fraction, drop the % sign and divide by 100.
