Holy Cross Roman Catholic school was opened in 1960. An average size catholic primary school that became an Academy in 2011. The school serves the parishes of St Luke ,Holy Cross and the Church of Assumption in Harlow. Inside the academy site there is a privately run pre-school.div>

Years 1 to 6

Children are admitted full time in the Reception class in the September before their fifth birthday. Reception intake is co-ordinated with the Essex County Admission Policy where parent processed and submit the complete application form directly to the Essex Council on specified closing date of application and complete the Supplementary Information Form that must be returned to the school. In the event of oversubscription, places allocation will be determine in accordance to the set out criteria in an order manner.
