About - Kings Ford Infant School and Nursery

Kings Ford Infant School and Nursery was built in 1954 to provide education and serve the local community. The school makes learning fun and exciting with a large range of different learning ways and experiences. Over the years lots of changes but manage to retain the spirit of the school on its wonderful family ethos.

Children are admitted into the nursery the half-term after their 3rd birthday. Children whose 5th birthday falls between 1st September and 31st August will be admitted full time to the reception class in the September before their 5th birthday. There is no guarantee of a place for children living in the priority admission area . In the event of oversubscription it is governed by set of criteria. However if oversubscription is within any of the given criteria; thus proximity (straight line distance) of the child's home to the school will be given highest priority.
