About - Latton Green Primary School

Latton Green Primary School was built in 1962. The school is situated in a quiet neighbourhood on the southern edge of Harlow in spacious and attractive grounds. The classrooms are large, light and airy and there are additional areas for Computers (ICT - Information Communication Technology), Art, Design and other small group activities. It accomodate up to 210 children on roll from 4 to 11 years of age, and are proud of how all staff, pupils and parents contribute to the education, well being and happiness of all our children. The School Site accommodates other users, including a private childcare provision run by Rum Tum Tuggers Day Nursery and the Latton Green Pre-School Unit.

Latton Green Primary School has intended number to admit is 30. There is no guarantee of a place for children living in the priority admission area. If oversubscribed where more applications receive than the available places, allocation will be determined through set of criteria in a priority order. In the event of over subscription a set of criteria are followed.The proximity (straight line distance is calculated by the LA) of the childs home to the school will be given highest priority over the above criteria. Exceptional medical circumstances may over ride the above.
