Melbourne Park Primary & Nursery School was built in 1953 on the site of Partridge Farm and is a spacious, well-equipped school with large classrooms, three halls, a new library and up-to-date ICT resources and opened in 1958 on a spacious site, catering for boys and girls, aged 4 - 11.div>

Admission arrangements are in accordance with Essex County Council policy.The only way parents can apply for a primary school place is by completing a Common Application Form (CAV) posted by the Planning and Admissions of Essex County Council to parents during Autumn Term of the academic year preceding a child starting school. Parents will be able to apply for up to 3 Essex primary schools using a single application form and on a prescribed date receive a single offer of the highest of parents’ preferences that can be met.
