About - Perryfields Junior School

Perryfields is a friendly and caring school where everybody is valued. Our primary aim is to provide a safe, stimulating and enjoyable learning environment for our whole school community where children can grow in confidence and self esteem. We are situated in the midst of Springfield, Chelmsford, on a pleasant housing area. Inside the school we have eight large and airy classrooms, two for each year group; a new state of the art ICT suite; a new well stocked library; large hall; range of work spaces and reading areas.

The school follows the Local Authority (LA) policy on admissions and all requests for admissions are referred to the LA and dealt with by them. All Year 2 children attending Perryfields Infant School are guaranteed a place at Perryfields Junior School provided that an application is made before the closing date of 15th January 2013. Admissions information is automatically sent to all parents with children in Year 2 by Essex County Council.A series of informal meetings for parents of children in Year 2 take place during the school year to give parents the opportunity to become familiar with the school in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
