Raynsford VC Lower School is a co-educational school for pupils aged 4 to 9 years with an average of 148 pupils on roll. It was founded in 1826 to provide education according to the ‘principles and practices of the Church of England’.Raynsford aim to serve the community by providing an education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice. They encourage an understanding of the meaning and significance of faith and promote Christian values through the experience it offers to all pupils.

The Academy will admit up to the admission number (30) of children each academic year. Children start their Reception year in September of the year in which they become five. Children then move through the classes/year groups until the September after their 9th.
