St. Katherine’s Church of England Primary School and Nursery strives to provide a warm, caring atmosphere based on Christian principles, where all children feel valued, respected and confident to accept challenges and experience success. The school continuously work to improve educational standards and incorporate our strong Christian values. These standards enable us to encourage each pupil to reach their maximum potential in an environment that promotes mutual respect between pupils, staff and parents. Attending the St Katherine’s Nursery does not guarantee your child being offered a place in the Reception Class and it is important that parents complete the LEA application form and School's Supplementary Information Form in the October prior to the following September intake into the Reception Class. Parents applying for a place at the school for their children would be expected to support the ethos of the school which is founded on Christian values and practice. Where there are too many applications for places available, the Governors’ Admissions Panel applied set criteria to determined children admission.
