Scholarships and Financial Aid by Foundation University Medical College

Scheme:

Eligibility

• Has not been involved in any disciplinary case.
• Has not failed in any subject / course in that particular year.
• A minimum of 70% marks in the MBBS.

Financial Assistance Programs

• FUMC provides financial assistance to the needy and deserving students as per policy in vogue.
• The available amount shall be distributed among the deserving students on the merit of each case as deemed appropriate by the FAC.
• The Financial Assistance is granted for one year and applications are received as per following schedule: 
• Applications for fresh / renewal of financial assistance should reach the Student Affairs by 3rd Monday of November each year. 
• FUMC evaluates and processes the applications of the deserving students to Financial Assistance Committee (FAC), who submits its recommendations of financial assistance to FUI for final approval by 3rd Monday of December each year.

Eligibility:

• A student is eligible for Financial Assistance as a fresh case if he/she: Is a registered student of FUMC.
• Is not involved in any disciplinary case.
• Has not failed in any subject throughout his / her stay at the college.
• Is not drawing financial benefit from any other source equivalent to 50% of the tuition fee of that year.
• If the student is drawing financial benefit from any other source he/she will not be eligible for financial assistance of more than 25% of the tuition fee. 
• For continuation of financial assistance, the student will be eligible if he/she: 
•  Has a minimum 55% mark in last examination. 
• Maintains and improves the minimum marks i.e. 55% marks in the year for which financial assistance is granted.
