Applying PEMDAS

PEMDAS gives you the rules about applying arithmetic operation sequence.

• Simplify what's in the Parentheses:
• Deal with Exponents and/or Roots:
• Do the Multiplication and/or Division:

  

• Do the Addition and/or Subtraction:
• Simplify the final expression:
