“In pursuance of section 7-A of the PPSC Ordinance, 1978, the chairman, PPSC with the approval of the Punjab government has made the following policy Decisions for regulating the conduct of the combined competitive examination. 1. No. EH-EAC/SO-etc.-Exam-PSC- The procedure, syllabus and conditions of admission to the “COMBINED competitive examination” likely to be held in_____ shall be as under:- (a) The examination will be held under the provision of the service Rules governing recruitment to posts included in this examination. (b) The name, number and Zonal allocation of the posts will be advertised in the National Dailies later on. The posts carry basic pay scales 16&17. (c) The exact date of the examination shall be announced by the commission in due course. (d) Allocation of the posts will be worked out in accordance with the Policy/Rules framed by Government of the Punjab from time to time. (e) Appointment will be made under the Block system as approved and made applicable by the Government of the Punjab. Zonal Allocation is, however, subject to change at any stage of selection. (f) The Government reserves the right not to fill any post.
