About - Beaverwood School for Girls

Founded in 1896 as Sidcup High School, which was a co-educational school located on the corner of Victoria Road, it later became Sidcup County School for Girls before moving to the new purpose-built main school building in 1931, which was expanded twice during the 1950s. After World War II, it became Chislehurst and Sidcup County Grammar School for Girls. In 1968, the name was changed to Beaverwood. In 1982, the school changed from being a grammar school to a comprehensive school. The School vision for the future is combined with the traditional values that society respects.div>
