Applications for admission to St Thomas More’s Catholic Primary School will be considered from parents who desire a Catholic education for their children. The admission number for entry is 30. In the year prior to your child starting school all parents will need to complete a Common Application Form from the Local Authority and a Supplementary Information Form for our school. Children are offered a place in the reception year group from the September following their fourth birthday. . A January start is possible for children who may benefit from an extra term at home or nursery. but parents can request to defer their child admission until later in the school year or until the child reaches compulsory school age. Though defer place cannot be offered to another child ,parent would not however be able to defer entry beyond the beginning of the term after the child’s fifth birthday, nor beyond the academic year for which the original application was accepted.  All children will be considered for admission within the provided set of criterion.
