Intelligence has been defined as the mental and physical ability of a person to respond instantly and correctly through deliberative and reflex reaction to different situations. While basic intelligence is inborn or inherited. Modern psychologists hold the view that it can be very well developed and augmented by the right kind of influences brought to bear through environment, education training and other aids. In the world of today we must build up the kind of personality which makes the winning first impression and sustains it all through. An individual can do a lot to improve the impact of this first contact. The various aspects which play a vital role in creating a favorable impression are physical appearance, positive attitude. Smile and cheerfulness, forceful and convincing expression, sincere and genuine interest in the other person, courtesy and etiquette, voice and words and goal-oriented disciplined habits. A word of caution: Do not criticize and complain.
