About - Christ Church Primary School

Christ Church is a Voluntary Aided Church of England School for boys and girls aged 3-11 years. It has been in existence for over 160 years, with the School, Church and Vicarage having been constructed on St. Albans Road, Barnet in 1844. The school moved to its present site in Byng Road in 1957 and stands in extensive grounds in a glorious rural setting surrounded by playing fields. In 2009 Christ Church Foundation Unit incorporating the Nursery and Reception classes was opened adjacent to the school. Christ Church is a friendly and inclusive school providing an orderly, calm and harmonious environment in which each child can feel part of the Christ Church family. It is a secure place to learn, providing a family atmosphere in which our children will be able to progress with self-confidence as they take further steps into the wider world.
