A cube is a three dimensional shape that features all right angles and a height, width and depth that are all equal.

A cube is a box in which all sides are squares.

Every edge in a cube has the same length: Length = Width = Height. Therefore, to find the volume, we need only find the length of one side, and raise it to the third power.
