Diameter = 5

Since ABC has diameter AOC as one side, ABC is a right triangle with hypotenuse AC.

This is a typical example of how you can be rewarded for being a savvy test-taker. Did you recognize the common Pythagorean ratio 3:4:5 that we learned in Geometry Basics? If you did, you realized that the hypotenuse, AC, equals 5. Since AC is also the circle's diameter, the correct answer is 5.
