despite of the weather forecaster's prediction of torrential rains
in spite from the weather forecaster's prediction of torrential rains
in spite of the prediction of the weather forecaster from torrential rains
in spite at the weather forecaster's prediction from torrential rains
Nothing sounds particularly wrong.
Should the correct choice begin "in spite of" or "despite of"? "In spite of" is better, so eliminate (2). Should the correct choice read "in spite of," "in spite from," or "in spite at"? "In spite of" is still best, so eliminate (3) and (5). How do the remaining choices differ? They use different prepositions. Does the wedding proceed in spite of a prediction "of" torrential rains or "from" torrential rains? "Of" works better, so eliminate Choice (4).
Only Choice (1) remains.
The outdoor wedding proceeded as planned, in spite of the weather forecaster's prediction of torrential rains and powerful winds. Sounds good.
