And one more. Choose an answer, and then click Continue.
Using recent sales reports for support, the analysts identify a growing preference for high-tech investments that arguably reflect investors' greater comfort with the stability of the high-tech industry.
arguably reflect investors' greater comfort with
arguably reflects investors' greater comfort with
arguably reflects their greater comfort with
arguably reflects the greater comfort of investors with regards to
arguably reflect investors' great comfort with
Once you see the verb "reflect" underlined, look for its subject. Is its subject "analysts", "investments" or "preference"? Be careful here; the correct subject is "preference" since it, not the analysts or the investments themselves, reflects the comfort level of investors. Since preference is singular and not underlined (so it's not going to change), the verb must be "reflects." Eliminate (1) and (5).
Looking for differences among the remaining choices, you see that Choices (2) and (4) keep investors while (3) replaces "investors" with "their." "Their" is unclear — we have no idea who "their" is referring to without "investors" — so eliminate (3). Now we have Choices (2) and (4) to compare. Which is clearer? They say the same thing, but Choice (2) does so more concisely and clearly, so it is the correct answer.
That leaves Choice (2).
Using recent sales reports for support, the analysts identify a growing preference for high-tech investments that arguably reflects investors' greater comfort with the stability of the high-tech industry. Yes.
